Photos tell the truth faster than any promise can. When water has climbed a wall or smoke has settled into Sheetrock, what you want is proof that those things can be undone. The projects below are representative of the water, mold, and fire restoration work our crews complete in homes across Fort Worth, from Wedgwood to Ryan Place to Eagle Mountain. Every job got a written price before we started and a photo of the finished clean-up before we left.

Water Loss in a Ryan Place Dining Room
A supply line let go behind a china cabinet while the homeowners were out for the afternoon. Water sat long enough to travel under the wood floor and into the adjacent wall cavity. We found the tide mark with a moisture meter, pulled only the affected flooring and baseboards, and set Dri-Eaz air movers with an Injectidry system to dry the wall cavity from the inside. The result was a dining room that went back together without a single replacement cabinet.
Mold Remediation in a Fairmount Crawlspace
In Fairmount’s pier-and-beam homes, the classic call is a musty smell that gets stronger after rain. This one was mold feeding on joists below a bathroom that had been leaking slowly for months. Our IICRC-credentialed team contained the crawlspace, removed the contaminated insulation, treated the framing, and installed a new vapor barrier. We took the moisture reading down from 28 percent to 9 percent before we called it done. The homeowner asked us to walk him through the photo set afterward because, as he put it, “I want to see what my house is standing on.”
Ceiling Collapse in North Richland Hills
An upstairs toilet ran overnight and took out the kitchen ceiling below. The damage was not just the drywall; water had wicked into the joist cavities and down the back side of the kitchen cabinets. We hung containment, cut the wet ceiling cleanly, and dried the open cavities with Phoenix axial fans before any rebuild began. Ceilings fail faster than people expect, and Joe, our lead on this one, said the moisture probe in the joist bay read wetter than the visible stain suggested. That is exactly why we dry past the tide mark, not just where the paint looks bad.
Fire Damage Cleanup in a Haltom City Kitchen
A grease fire that never spread past the stove still sent smoke through the kitchen and into the dining room. The family was relieved, but the smoke smell hung around. We cleaned every surface, sealed the affected wall cavities, and ran HEPA air scrubbers with B-Air units until the air tested clear. Rick Sumner himself walked the job at the end because fire jobs are the ones people live with the longest if the odor is not truly gone. The homeowner’s daughter was most upset about the smell of smoke on her backpack, which tells you how small a loss can feel large to a kid.
Slab Leak Under a Westcliff Living Room
Westcliff homes from the 1970s often have copper lines under the slab, and this one let go under the living room. Water rose through the concrete and into the carpet pad before anyone noticed. We located the leak, worked with the plumber to get the line repaired, then dried the slab and the flooring system with penetrating meters to confirm the concrete was actually dry. A slab is a sneaky place for water to hide, because the surface can feel dry while the middle is still heavy with moisture. We do not call a slab dry until the probes say so at depth.
Attic Water Damage in a Northside Ranch
On a Northside ranch, an HVAC condensate line in the attic disconnected and soaked the blown-in insulation above the hallway. The tell was a warm, damp smell and a faint stain on the ceiling. We removed the wet insulation, dried the ceiling from above and below, and replaced the insulation to code. Before we left, we checked the condensate line routing and the drip pan, because when an attic gets wet once, the second question is always what made it wet and whether it could happen again. A photo of the cleaned-up attic and hallway went to the homeowners before the crew pulled out of the driveway.
